Rashid obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (First Class Hons) from
Makerere University (Kampala, Uganda)
in 2009, and a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering (Cum Laude, International Doctor) from the
Technical University of Catalonia
(Barcelona, Spain) in 2014. He is currently a Post Doctoral Researcher in the Network Engineering Department at the Technical University of Catalonia. Research Interests:
Management of networks and services for the future Internet.
Current focus is on resource management in network virtualisation environments, software defined networks and network function virtualisation.
